Building Permits: Good QE Response, no Taper Disruption

October building permits, the best available proxy for housing starts data still delayed by government shutdown problems, show a sharply stronger-than-expected net increase from the the August level that was the last number in hand, before today, jumping 11.7% (Consensus: +0.4%; Decision Economics: +3.5%.
