ISM Non-Manufacturing: Less Downside Risk?

Posted October 3, 2012 by rvillareal

The September ISM Non-Manufacturing Survey is stronger than generally expected, with the composite index up 1.4 points (Consensus: -0.3 point; Decision Economics: +1.0 points) to 55.1.

As with the manufacturing survey, the message of strength was amplified by the fact that orders were particularly strong, with that index jumping 4 points, to 57.7.
