Personal Consumption: Outlook Dinged, but Modestly

April personal income meets expectations, rising 0.3% (Consensus and Decision Economics: +0.3%), but consumption, down 0.1%, is a bit shy (Consensus: +0.2%; Decision Economics: +0.1%).  The PCE price index, too, is marginally softer than expected, rising 0.2% (Consensus: +0.3%; Decision Economics: +0.2%).
