Family Office and Wealth Management
Strategic
Since 1996, Decision Economics has provided research and perspective to financial professionals managing and preserving long-term wealth. We approach each relationship by first gaining a clear understanding of individual advisor needs, concerns, and investment mandate. We then define a service package and dedicate an appropriate DE team member as a permanent liaison to the relationship.
Efficient
DE Family Office and Wealth Management Services are defined in detailed Information Support Programs which clearly define each individual service component and delivery method.
Key components include:
- Dynamic, Global Asset Allocation Service-Quarterly Reports
- Consultative insight and discussion on the World’s Economic Cycles
- Published research focused on the identification of risks and opportunities
Information Support Program
The following Service Components may be included as a part of customized Information Support Program.
DE Liaison
A DE Liaison is the conduit to regularly scheduled consultative discussion, research reports and commentary, and ensures relevant, actionable information is surfaced.
- Dr. Allen Sinai (Boston/New York) -Global Strategy, Asset Allocation
- Dr. Cary Leahey (NYC) Global Macroeconomic Cycle and Markets
A central component of ensuring our relationships have a clear and concise understanding of our views culminates in Monthly or Quarterly Client-Focused Teleconferences. They are scheduled, recurring, interactive discussions often touching on topics such as the global economic cycle, secular trends affecting asset classes and investments, global currency as a factor and broad Global Asset Allocation. Duration may be 30-60 minutes.
Global Asset Allocation Service

Dr. Allen Sinai manage the economic and policy-driven proprietary weightings against stated benchmarks including the MSCI Global, EAFE, MSCI EMG and the S&P500. Quarterly reports include the actual weightings by region, asset class and sector as well as qualitative discussion around the rationale and outlook
Global Asset Allocation includes:
1. A Quarterly Report with Global Country and Sector Weightings, following each earnings season.
2. Intra-period changes in broad US and Global Asset Allocation Weightings, as needed.
3. 12 monthly Sector/Industry Reports spotlighting risks and opportunities and corresponding group conference calls.
