China’s official Manufacturing PMI rose to 50.3 in December, up from 50.1. Output softened to 51.4 from 52. New Orders improved to 49.7 from 49.4. Employment edged up to 49.1 from 48.9, and the Supplier’s delivery inched up to 48.3 from 48.2. Business Sentiment increased to 54.3 from 53.8.

The Non-Manufacturing PMI improved to 52.7 from 52.3, indicating a recovery in the service sector. New Orders fell to 48.4 from 48.9, remaining in the contractionary territory for seven months. New Export Orders climbed to 47.7 from 47.5, and Employment improved to 47.6 from 47.3. However, Business Sentiment slid to 57.3 from 58.2, suggesting that companies have cautious outlooks for the Recovery.
