February durable goods orders rise a more-than-expected 2.2% (Consensus: +0.7%; Decision Economics: +0.5%), in a pattern emphasizing consumer goods and intermediate goods.  Though not as encouraging as it might otherwise be, the report still bespeaks solid upward momentum.
